Cinema Tropical and the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Arizona present Cinema Tucsón, a cultural initiative launched in 2021, featuring monthly screenings of Mexican films at the historic Fox Tucson Theatre.

As Mexican cinema continues to generate world-wide enthusiasm, the creative team behind the Tucson Cine Mexico film festival—which, during seventeen years, created a vital platform for the exhibition of Mexican cinema in the U.S—is presenting monthly screenings of a mix of classic films, B movies, and new cinema with exceptional filmmakers and special guests for dialogue with the Tucson community.
